Emily has never been with a woman, but Annie attracts her in a way that no one else has. Despite Emily’s initial misgivings, it doesn’t take long for their relationship to move from teacher and student to something much more than either of them expected—something that might lead to the love of a lifetime.

Fab Review for Beyond Curious by Paisley Smith

"Get your fans and cold showers ready ladies; Paisley Smith has done it again! This is one really hot story. Not only is this story as sexually delicious as deep fried ice cream, it’s also a beautiful love story. Somehow, Paisley Smith, as before, managed to write a well-rounded short story that from beginning to end left no gaps, lingering questions, and made me feel like these two women will only have eyes for each other forever." ~ Read the whole review at Loving Venus - Loving Mars

An excerpt from Beyond Curious by Paisley Smith ~

Annie reached and tucked a lock of Emily’s hair behind her ear. The act was so astonishingly intimate, even after what they’d just done, Emily could not resist the urge to kiss her female lover.

With Annie’s fingers still embedded inside her, she leaned forward—slowly, hesitantly—and brushed her lips against Annie’s.

Emily threaded her fingers through the short hair at the nape of Annie’s neck and opened to the tongue that urged between her lips, tempting her to respond and then daring to go even deeper. As she returned Annie’s passion-filled kiss, sharp desire welled. Emily could hardly believe she was doing this—with a woman! It was so unlike her. So reckless. So impulsive.

And yet the only thought in her mind was this beautiful, sexy young woman wanted her. Her!

Lesbian Romance Heroines by Paisley Smith

Erotic romance featuring two women is as varied as straight romance. There are romances featuring lesbians who are confident in their sexuality, stories with women who are still wrestling with whether they are gay or not, mysteries, paranormals, BDSM, contemporaries, historicals, and more.

In my menage story, Birthday Girl, the heroine struggles with her attraction to another woman and how she can implement that relationship into her marriage to her husband. In my free read, First Taste, the heroine is reawakened to a lesbian relationship after divorcing her husband. And in my upcoming release, Beyond Curious, the heroine, who has always perceived herself as straight, finds love with another woman. Because I've shared these experiences with my heroines, in all my stories, I've included a certain amount of angst over coming out and being gay.

As readers of lesbian and bi romance, what issues do you like to see? Angst filled, sexual awakenings, society concerns, or traditional type stories where the characters happen to be two women?
