Paisley Smith Welcomes Adele Dubois ~ Explore REV ME TWICE

Readers often ask where authors get their story ideas. My new release REV ME TWICE is the stand-alone sequel to my novel REV ME UP, which was sparked by a real-life incident. I witnessed a hunk on a Harley lose control of his bike and nearly crash while he watched a beautiful woman walk along a sidewalk. I wondered what would have happened if the woman had flashed him while he watched her, and a book was born.

REV ME TWICE is the natural extension of the first book due to reader demand for secondary characters Tomas and Crystal’s story. These lovers were the gritty pair in REV ME UP who lived life on the wild side. Crystal liked sexual experimentation and wanted Tomas to join her in ménages and group sex. She also enjoyed an occasional private encounter with women for “something different”. REV ME TWICE has given Tomas and Crystal license to go as far as they like with their intimate explorations.

REV ME TWICE Summary:

Crystal is a bad, bad girl in the most delicious ways. She tries to be good and is tempted to commit to her Navy MP boyfriend, Tomas, but has no experience with an exclusive relationship or healthy family structure. She likes her life as a cable TV stripping weather girl and sex party host, and resists conforming to the traditional lifestyle Tomas craves. Without her weekly ménages and wild orgies, can she become the partner Tomas wants?

When Crystal receives death threats, a media frenzy erupts. During a break-in, the threatening letters are stolen, erasing evidence that thwarts an arrest. Tomas sports Crystal away on his Harley to protect her, but a deadly crash changes everything. Faced with the choice between self-interest and self-sacrifice, Crystal must decide if she will embrace a new life with Tomas or walk away.

REV ME TWICE Excerpt:

When Tomas met Crystal, she’d shattered every ounce of his resolve to control his baser urges. The pastimes he enjoyed—a little gambling, some drinking and watching strippers to blow off steam, seemed like child’s play compared to her hobbies. She had corrupted his soul and he was a willing partner. He loved it all.
Yet he knew the clock was ticking toward his return to convention. A straight life. He had his eye up the ladder of success and wanted promotions. Backyard barbeques in suburbia with navy buddies and their wives. A swing set for the kids. A big, stupid dog with floppy ears. Some people made fun of those things, but Tomas wanted nothing more. Except to fit Crystal into the picture.
Soon, he’d offer Crystal a choice.

Crystal lifted her head from his shoulder and pulled away, turning to give him an apologetic smile while she headed to the front door. Tomas watched her look through the peephole and then open the door to someone. Tomas strolled back to the wet bar beside the kitchen to pour himself another vodka.
A stunning Amer-Asian woman with waist-length black hair entered the living room. Yvette, Crystal’s landlady. She wore a body-hugging red silk vest and a black skirt so short it barely covered her crotch. Black high heels graced her dainty feet. Tomas watched while Gunther and the girls turned their attention to Yvette. Crystal introduced her. Tomas waved across the room and Yvette waved back. “I heard the music. I hope you don’t mind me dropping by,” she called out to him, wide-eyed.
Tomas shook his head. He wasn’t fooled by her feigned innocence. Yvette had been circling like a puss craving catnip since the day Crystal moved in. Judging by the length of her skirt, she’d finally seized her moment. He’d make book she wasn’t wearing underwear.
After a round of small talk, the girls with Gunther ambled away and went to the couch, where they sipped champagne. Gunther eyed Yvette like a dog with a new toy. Tomas chuckled and sipped his vodka. He should never have seen Gunther as a threat to his relationship with Crystal. That man would never settle for one woman and Crystal would never tolerate a man who didn’t put her first.
Gunther brought Yvette a glass of champagne, refilled his glass and then pulled her to him with his free hand as he moved to the music. She giggled and tried to hold her drink steady while she joined the dance. She shot Crystal a questioning look and Crystal raised her brow and nodded, as if to say, “He’s a free agent. Go for it.” Gunther stared down at Yvette, riveted.
Tomas glanced at the two women on the couch, but they chatted together and laughed, seemingly oblivious to Gunther and his new attraction. Tomas put down his glass and turned down the lights. He made his way back to Crystal to pick up where they’d left off. Their close contact had heated his blood.
The music’s hypnotic rhythms, combined with the heady effects of the alcohol, brought everyone to the center of the impromptu dance floor. Time vanished as the keyboard, drums and guitars spun their songs and held them fast to one another. Two became four as Tomas and Crystal rotated hips behind Gunther and Yvette. The girls watched with dreamy, half-closed eyes, inches away.
